For high signal quality

For optimal signal quality under high demands, use the RIM200 or RIM2000 programmable bearingless rotary encoders with a 2 mm pole length. Ensure good bearings and a stable installation process, allowing for an air gap of up to 1 mm.

For applications with a larger air gap

If the application requires a larger air gap (up to max. 2 mm), the RIM500 bearingless rotary encoders with 5 mm pole length or the RIM5000 programmable bearingless rotary encoders are used. These also offer high performance and high signal quality.

While high resolution is achievable for all diameters, choosing the largest is advisable. A larger diameter enhances performance and accuracy, making it ideal for precise applications. This ensures better signal quality and reliability.
